"Designed for the streets"
Vegetable and fruit vendors spend long hours in uncomfortable, inflexible cart setups — difficult to move, poorly suited for different terrains, and offering limited weather protection — leading to physical strain, fatigue, and reduced earning potential.
SAHAY reimagines the traditional vending cart into a flexible, ergonomic, and mobile system that adapts to different terrains while reducing physical strain on vendors.
System Components
Solar Roof: Integrated solar panel provides power for lighting and electronics.
Dual-Tier Produce Storage: Modular grid shelves with adjustable compartments.
Foldable Table: Side-mounted surface extends for extra workspace, folds for transit.
Collapsible Bin: Side waste bin collapses flat to save space.
Multi-Terrain Wheels: Large rear + small front casters handle uneven roads.
All Features
Powers LED lighting and small electronics, cutting energy costs for vendors.
Two-tier modular grid shelves for organised display of fruits and vegetables.
Extends outward for extra workspace, then folds flat for transit.
Side bin collapses flat — maintains hygiene without sacrificing space.
Built-in slot for a fold-flat chair; vendors rest without carrying extra furniture.
Large rear + small front casters for cobblestones, ramps, and uneven roads.
